Vitamin B and Weight Loss

It’s no surprise that many weight loss pills can be deadly; however, the FDA has come forward and called some names, listing over 25 pills that could be risky due to the fact that they contain undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients. The products are listed below and can be found in store as well as online under “dietary suppliments.”

  • Fatloss Slimming
  • 2 Day Diet
  • 3x Slimming Power
  • 5x Imelda Perfect Slimming
  • 3 Day Diet Japan Lingzhi
  • 24 Hours Diet
  • 7 Diet Day/Night Formula
  • 7 Day Herbal Slim
  • 8 Factor Diet
  • 999 Fitness Essence
  • Extrim Plus
  • GMP
  • Imelda Perfect Slim
  • Lida DaiDaihua
  • Miaozi Slim Capsules
  • Perfect Slim
  • Perfect Slim 5x
  • Phyto Shape
  • ProSlim Plus
  • Royal Slimming Formula Slim 3 in 1
  • Slim Express 360

  • Somotrim
  • Superslim
  • TripleSlim
  • Zhen de Shou
  • Venom Hyperdrive 3.0
The FDA goes on to say that not only do they not recommend the drugs, but they are illegal in the USA due to the fact that they contain controlled substances such as phenytoin and sibutramine. After FDA tests, it was found that some of the supplements contained substances way above the approved amount by the FDA.
Some of the pharmaceutical agents such as sibutramine can cause high blood pressure, heart palpitations, heart attacks and even stroke.

While this does explain an important point, it underscores a more important factor about weight loss. Quick fixes in losing weight generally carry severe side effects. By now we’ve heard about the health risks involving low carbohydrate diets and this is yet another example of how that magical pill can contain not good but black magic.
